Spirit Lake Installation

Spirit Lake

GENERATIVE INSTALLATION

"We sought to give the forest a voice, transforming the rustling leaves and wind into a symphony of light that responds to the unseen rhythms of nature."

Spirit Lake is a site-specific installation commissioned for the annual Lumina Festival. The challenge was to activate a dormant section of the ancient woodland without disturbing the local ecosystem. Using non-invasive projection mapping and generative audio analysis, our team developed a system that listens to the ambient noise of the forest — wind, wildlife, and water — and translates these signals into real-time visual fluid simulations projected onto the tree canopy and lake surface.

The result is a living, breathing digital organism that exists in symbiosis with its physical environment, never repeating the same visual pattern twice.
